Your body, when positioned on top of an exercise ball, is constantly making small adjustments, often imperceptible, to remain balanced and thus is constantly exercising a large group of muscles in doing so. By strengthening your body's core muscle group you help improve your posture, have better balance and guard against back injuries.
*A note about the free pump.
We provide a small pump for free for you to have a way to inflate your ball. However, exercise balls require a lot of air and it will take a lot of pumping with the free pump. Even bicycle tire pumps can take a long time (there's not much air in a bicycle tire).
So, you may want to consider purchasing at this time a high volume air pump, especially if you use exercise balls a lot or have other things you often inflate, like pool toys. These pumps push air on the up and down strokes and the higher volume ones can fill an exercise ball in a matter of minutes.

Better than the Hawaii Chair!, 3.10.2008
Reviewer: D Huszar (Oregon City, OR)I recently saw Ellen DeGeneres attempt to sit on a Hawaii Chair and I can see the exercise possibilities, but the difficulty sitting and doing things is nuts! I SWEAR by my balance ball chair that it gives me great exercise without disrupting my other activities. At first, it was hard to sit very long because if you don't sit with good posture it will hurt you (muscles get sore and back hurts). So be sure to sit properly and get up often to move around. I also like the concept of being able to take the ball out of the frame and use it like a regular pilates ball to exercise. That makes it two items in one and I like that alot!

Great Quality, Incredible Price, 9.13.2007
Reviewer: Bill Mariano (Escondido, CA)I bought one of these for my wife and she loves it! The quality of this chair is great. Heavy duty plastic, easy to assemble and designed just right for sitting. Very comfortable. I compared this to the Gaiam chair and, well, it's the same chair! Plus, they give you a choice of ball colors (my wife got the red). Neat little ball measuring tape comes with it. Really helps to inflate the ball the right size. Great buy!
