Many people want to experience the benefits that come from regular bike riding, but don't have the time or agility needed. A Pedal exerciser offers an effective solution for achieving a biking-like workout without bulky equipment. Our Standard Pedal Exerciser allows you to workout in different places, like at work or in your living room, and can be used for leg or arm exercise.

Pedal exercisers

Can be used for upper body exercises by placing it on a table and using your arms or for lower body exercises placed on the floor and pedaled with your feet. It helps you improve blood circulation, muscle strength, joint flexibility and coordination. Easy to move around and store, you can place it in front of a chair, under a desk or on a table.

Pedal exerciser feet

This sturdy standard pedal exerciser is an economical way to get the upper and lower body aerobic workout you need. Made of high quality 1" chrome-plated steel tubing, it has 4 long-lasting flat-bottom rubber feet to grip the floor (compare to some competitor's foam wrapped footings) and adjustable pedal straps to keep your feet in place.

Controlling the amount of resistance is easy: Turn the knob clockwise to increase resistance and counterclockwise to decrease. Our tension range goes from very easy to noticeably difficult. Some competitor's top range do not provide for hard pedaling. Our pedaler can be used for a whole range of goals, from rehab and elderly exercise to muscle strengthening and vigorous aerobic workouts.

Resistance exerciser

Unlike some competitors, our standard pedal exerciser has pedals designed to accomodate hands as well as feet. Our pedal width is up to 1/2" narrower so that smaller hands can more easily grip the pedals. And our pedals have a slight dip toward the middle for better gripping by the hands.

Features include:
  • Comes fully assembled. Just screw in resistance knob and start pedaling
  • Includes Dycem Anti-Slip strips for added grip on hard surface floors
  • 1" chrome-plated steel is strong but lightweight
  • A full tension range from easy to hard pedaling
  • 4 triangular shaped, grooved-bottomed, anti-skid rubber foot pads for extra traction and longer wear
  • Pedals designed to accommodate hands as well as feet
  • Wrap-around foot straps
  • For upper or lower body exercise
  • Weighs only 5 lbs
  • 1 year warranty from Isokinetics Inc.
Caution: Tension housing and axle can become very hot if used vigorously for an extended period of time.

To prevent sliding, sit so that your legs are bent at a 90 degree angle or close to it. Sitting too low can also result in a forward force that would naturally push the pedaler forward (use our Dycem Anti-Slip Strips under each foot if needed).

Start your exercise program slowly and gradually work up to 20 minutes of exercise at least three times a week. Don't overdo! ALWAYS consult a physician before beginning this, or any other, exercise program.

This pedaler inexpensive, but it does the job. I had hop surgery and use it to keep my motion.

I just ordered 4 of these units, and have used many units just like these from other vendors. This unit provides quality in the most important aspects of a pedal exerciser. The knob to adjust resistance is nicely progressive, and offers a smooth transition from easy to difficult. The non-skid pads are effective. The actual foot pedals are relatively non-substantial, lack adjustment, and may be the biggest downside, but what can you expect from such an inexpensive piece of equipment! A very good deal!
