Rehabilitation Equipment and Supplies

When a person is injured, there are two important components to their recovery. First, the patient is served by the medical staff that provide their initial treatment to stabilize the injury. Once a patient's condition is stabilized and initial care is completed, they are on the road to recovery. That's where physical therapy steps in, providing the second important step in rehabilitation. Injuries don't usually heal automatically, so properly targeted physical exercise is needed to help the muscles and other tissues rebuild to the level they once were. In order to accomplish this more effectively, therapists use and encourage their patients to use physical therapy equipment and supplies designed for professional use.
